THE City of Swansea Aquatics Swimming Club travelled to Newport International Sports Village on the 13 and 14th April to compete against local teams in the South Wales area.

Speaking about their success in the competition Oliver Tennant, Performance Coach for the club said “The whole coaching staff are very proud of each swimmer who raced this weekend. As usual, they set a high standard of technical skills and fast swimming. We are very excited to see what is to come, next weekend at the Welsh Easter Championship”

The club is celebrating its 100th year in existence, the competition is the last meet before the Welsh Championships.

12 Years Sophie Peters 50m Butterfly and  200m individual Medley,

13 Year-old Ffion Johns 100m Freestyle, 50m Butterfly,

Summer Scott 200m and individual Medley,

14 Year-old Natalie Tucker 100m Butterfly,

15 Year-old Caitlin Evens Gold 50m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, 100m Backstroke,

Danielle Williams 100m Freestyle, 200m and individual Medley, 16 Years and over

Ffion Jones 100m Backstroke

Niamh Jones 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, 100m Breaststroke.

MENS

12 Year-old Corey Williams finished 100m Freestyle,

13 Year-old Tyler Williams 100m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke, 100m Breaststroke, 50m Butterfly,

15 Year-old Joshua Ellens Gold 50m Breaststroke, Morgan Greenway 50m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, 100m Backstroke.
