THE theft of an iPhone has cost a 58-year-old man £1,160.00.
Appearing before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court Anthony John Edwards of 39 Llys Westfa, Llanelli pleaded not guilty to the charge of theft contrary to section 1(1) and 7 of the Theft Act 1968.
The court heard that on 08/09/2018 at Felinfoel Edwards stole an iPhone 6 to the value of £300 belonging to Simon Thomas.
Edwards was found guilty and ordered to pay £300 compensation, a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £650.
