THE Committee, members and friends of Carmarthenshire Wildfowler’s Association carried out their first club litter pick earlier this month (May 11) at Kidwelly Quay.
With litter picking kit provided by Carmarthenshire County Council, the team picked over 20 red bags of plastic and man made waste along with tyres, crates and even an old gas meter.
This followed on from their Committee joining one of the regular litter picks organised by the volunteers of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at the Llanelli Wetlands Centre at the beginning of May.
The CWA plan to organise more litter picks on the marsh this summer.
