THOUSANDS of people enjoyed the spectacle of the Wales Airshow this weekend, Saturday (Jul 6) and Sunday (Jul 7).
From vintage aircraft including a Spitfire to the wonderful Red Arrows and the Wing Walkers the event had it all.
The RAF parachute display team jumped from the skies above Swansea while thousands standing on the beach sampled the delights of the atmosphere, which saw an ‘after dark’ event including a wonderful aerial display from The Fireflies.
There were a variety of aerial display teams including The Ravens and even hot air balloons got in on the action taking to the air on Saturday evening.
For a city with a small airport the sky was the limit. An evening fireworks display sealed the weekend’s activities, which packed a mighty punch for Swansea.
