POLICE have confirmed that an air weapon has been voluntary surrendered in connection with the social media posting referring to a ‘mass shooting’ yesterday, which led to police attending Stradey School.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “We can confirm a legally held air weapon has been voluntarily surrendered to us in connection to this investigation. It is now due to be destroyed. We would like to reassure the public we are taking a robust approach towards this matter, and do not deem there to be a risk to the public or school.”
