REBECCA Evans AM, Assembly Member for Gower, has visited The Pettifor Trust at their shop in Killay to find out more about the work they do to support and promote animal welfare across South Wales.
Rebecca Evans said: “I was particularly heartened to hear about their support for the work of the Gower Commoners Safety Action Group which is working hard to prevent the needless deaths of livestock on our commons as a result of careless or speeding drivers.
“I also learned about The Pettifor Trust’s ‘Kind Hands to all Animals’ work which seeks to help people better understand the needs of their pets. They are creating some really fantastic resources for children and schools.”
The festive visit was also a chance to meet volunteers and thank them for their dedication to a great cause.
