A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and threats to cause criminal damage following an incident in Llwynhendy last night (Thursday, 30th January).
Armed police were called to the Brynawelon estate at around 10.40pm following reports of a disturbance.
House to house enquiries have been made in the area today, and officers have also conducted reassurance patrols.
