ASSISTANT Chief Constable Jenny Gilmer has issued the below statement in respect of the violent disorder in Mayhill, Swansea, on Thursday evening.
ACC Gilmer said:
“We will be absolutely tireless in our pursuit of those responsible. This was utterly unacceptable behaviour, not what we expect to see here in South Wales, and a very difficult situation for the communities of Mayhill.
“If anyone is planning a repeat… will be met with a very robust policing response.”
