OFFICERS investigating an armed robbery at a McDonald’s restaurant in the Bridgend area have released CCTV stills of the suspect.
They are appealing for anybody who recognises him to make contact and assist the police investigation.
The robbery occurred at McDonald’s on Cowbridge Road at approximately 3.30am on Tuesday, July 20.
The man pictured entered the McDonald’s via a back security door and demanded money from staff while holding a knife and what has been described as a mallet with a yellow handle.
He made off with cash from the restaurant.
Acting Detective Inspector Alethea Fowler, said: “I believe that somebody will recognise the person in the CCTV images and they are urged to make contact.”
