Bryn WI gathered on 11.11.2021 to pay respects to the fallen

Members from Bryn WI held a short Remembrance service beside their flowerbed outside Bryn Hall on Thursday 11th November, where their President Jane laid a wreath made from crocheted poppies. A beautiful stone decorated by their Treasurer Joan was also placed.

Country and Llangennech and Bryn Councillor, Gary Jones, was in attendance and handed out Poppies and crosses to the children.

Children from St Michael’s preparatory school and the Ysgol Bryn School Council joined the service to remember the fallen heroes of two World Wars.

Those who attended also remembered others who have given their lives in conflicts worldwide and thought about much missed WI members who are no longer with them.
