Businesses still required to take safety measures in Alert Level 0

MANY of Wales’ remaining COVID-19 rules have now been lifted. However, there are still restrictions in place at Alert Level 0.

All businesses are required to undertake their own risk assessments and to take reasonable measures to ensure the safety of their staff and customers.

Wearing face masks is still required by law in many indoor public places, such as in shops and on public transport.

Despite the laws being relaxed on social distancing indoors, businesses must put their own measures in place to keep staff and customers safe, which may still include elements of social distancing.

Action Cards

Action cards have been made available by Welsh Government which provide advice for businesses and organisations about what reasonable measures to take to mitigate the risk of coronavirus: Reasonable measures action cards for businesses and organisations: coronavirus | GOV.WALES

Where premises are associated with a number of cases or where control measures are lacking, advice will usually be given before any enforcement action is taken. However, where a premises presents a serious or imminent risk, enforcement action may still be taken without initial advice being given.

We need to continue to help Keep Ceredigion Safe and control the spread of Covid-19 in our communities.
