THE sound of clanging bells, applause and cheers from staff resounded around the Prince Philip Hospital as recovering Covid-19 Patient Andrew Evans was helped to the waiting arms of his family members on Thursday (May 7).
Having struggled with the Coronavirus and been hospitalised twice in the last two months Andrew says he owes his life to the wonderful care he’s received from the staff at Ward one and the AMAU.
Andrew is no stranger to Prince Philip Hospital as he has devoted lots of time volunteering at the hospital radio Radio BGM which has continued to cheer him up throughout his stay.
CEO of the Hywel Dda trust Steve Moore also passed on his best wishes to Andrew and congratulated everyone involved in helping Andrew back to full health.
