A consultation on reviewing polling districts in Ceredigion is set to be approved by the cabinet on Tuesday (October 15).
Also under review will be polling stations and places across the area with draft proposals prepared by the local authority’s acting returning officer.
The proposed changes include removing the polling station at Chapel Vestry, Cwmystwyth, and Capel Tynygwndwn Chapel, Tal-sarn, changing the location of the central Aberystwyth polling station and at Llansantffraid,
Suggestions are called for on an alternative location for voting in Beulah instead of the now-closed school and Caffi Sali Mali, Pentre Bach, Blaenpennal, which is considered unsatisfactory.
The review is due to launch on October 16 and aims to ensure that voters have reasonable facilities in places suitable for all sectors of the community, with disabled access wherever possible.
