CARMARTHENSHIRE County Council has confirmed that three individuals at Bryngwyn School in Llanelli have tested positive for COVID-19.
The council also confirmed that one individual at St John Lloyd School in Llanelli has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement the council said: Robust procedures are in place and the Test, Trace, Protect process is being followed.
No pupils or members of staff at the school have been identified as having been in close contact with the individual concerned.
The school is directly in touch with parents to keep them informed.
It is important to remember that coronavirus has not gone away. We must all remain vigilant and continue to follow the advice around social distancing, washing hands, face coverings, self-isolation and testing.
