Hywel Dda University Health Board’s COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Van is returning to Cross Hands and Ammanford to provide second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and give a first dose to anyone who wants it.
The van will be based at the Leekes car park at Cross Hands on Friday, 10 September and Saturday, 11 September, from 11.00am to 7.00pm. Ammanford will see the van at Tesco on Friday 17 September, and Saturday 18 September from 11.00am to 7.00pm.
The fire service is providing one of its vehicles from which Hywel Dda UHB staff will deliver the vaccine to anyone aged 18 and over that requires either a first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
With the rise in cases across the UK, Hywel Dda UHB is urging as many people as possible to come forward for their first and second doses.
There is no need to book an appointment to attend these sessions. Click here for further information about the vaccination programme (opens in new tab).
