Crowds of people lined vantage points all along the main railway line between Swansea and Carmarthen today, Wednesday (Jul 29) as the British Railways Standard Class 7 steam locomotive Britannia hurtled through the county.
Crowds gathered on the road bridge at Loughor and at vantage points along the line.
A large crowd gathered at the station in Burry Port to see the Red Dragon steam excursion train speed by.
Burry Port Online captured this wonderful video and image of the train.
Andy West also captured the train near Pembrey.
Our photographer was at Loughor Bridge and filmed the train in slow motion.
