Cyllid ychwanegol o £1.875 miliwn i gynyddu effeithlonrwydd a rhoi hwb i elw pob busnes cymwys ar y tir yng Nghymru

ANGEN help gyda chynllun busnes, cyngor am iard dan do newydd, eich da byw neu’ch tir, neu arweiniad i ganfod unrhyw broblemau a allai fod yn atal eich busnes rhag gweithredu mor effeithlon a phroffidiol â phosibl?

Ydych chi’n ffermwr neu’n goedwigwr sy’n disgwyl yn bryderus i weld sut y caiff eich busnes ei effeithio pan fyddwn yn gadael yr UE yn y pen draw? Neu a ydych chi’n cymryd rheolaeth dros eich tynged, gan gymryd camau i baratoi eich busnes ar gyfer beth bynnag sydd o’n blaenau?

Mae Cyswllt Ffermio yn annog pob busnes fferm a choedwigaeth i wneud cais am gyngor arbenigol a fydd yn eu helpu i gynyddu effeithlonrwydd a hybu elw. Bydd chwistrelliad ariannol ychwanegol o £1,875 miliwn yn sicrhau parhad y Gwasanaeth Cynghori ar gyfer busnesau cymwys sydd wedi cofrestru gyda Cyswllt Ffermio rhwng nawr ac Awst 2022, pan ddaw’r rhaglen Cyswllt Ffermio bresennol i ben.

Dywedodd Eirwen Williams, cyfarwyddwr rhaglenni gwledig gyda Menter a Busnes, sydd ochr yn ochr â Lantra Cymru, yn darparu Cyswllt Ffermio ar ran Llywodraeth Cymru a Chronfa Amaethyddol Ewrop ar gyfer Datblygu Gwledig, fod y cyhoeddiad diweddar am gyllid ychwanegol yn golygu y gall busnesau cymwys wneud cais am gyngor cyfrinachol, wedi’i deilwra i’w hanghenion, i’w helpu i redeg eu busnes ar y lefel uchaf bosibl ar draws pob maes gwaith.

“Mae ein diwydiant yn wynebu cyfnod o newid digynsail a gyda’r angen i bob busnes ar y tir leihau eu hôl troed carbon, mae’n anochel y bydd y ffordd y mae’r busnesau hyn yn gweithredu yn wahanol.

“Byddwn yn annog pawb sydd wedi cofrestru gyda Cyswllt Ffermio i wneud cais am y Gwasanaeth Cynghori nawr, oherwydd yn y cyfnod hwn mae’n hanfodol bwysig bod pob busnes yn rhoi sylw blaenllaw i effeithlonrwydd ac elw, gan nodi meysydd sydd â’r potensial ar gyfer gwella neu dyfu a mynd i’r afael ag unrhyw rai sy’n debygol o danberfformio yn y tymor hir.

Mae wyth ymgynghoriaeth wledig flaenllaw wedi’u cymeradwyo i ddarparu’r Gwasanaeth Cynghori.  Mae cyngor un-i-un wedi’i ariannu hyd at 80%, ac mae cyngor fel grŵp, sydd ar gael i rhwng tri ac wyth unigolyn, yn cael ei ariannu’n llawn hyd at uchafswm o €1,500 (ewro) fesul cais. Gellir gwneud cais am y gwasanaeth hyd at bedair gwaith.

Mae cynllunio busnes yn un o nifer o gategorïau sydd ar gael drwy’r Gwasanaeth Cynghori, gan roi cyfle i ymgeiswyr llwyddiannus geisio cyngor cyfrinachol ac annibynnol a fydd yn eu helpu i arfarnu eu busnes a diogelu ei ddyfodol. Mae eraill yn cynnwys gwelliannau i’r seilwaith; rheoli pridd, glaswelltir a chnydau, rheoli a pherfformiad da byw, materion amaeth-amgylcheddol a rheoli coetiroedd.

“Pa sector bynnag yr ydych ynddo, bydd nodi meysydd i’w gwella a dod o hyd i atebion i heriau yn hanfodol i fusnesau sydd angen cystadlu yn y farchnad fyd-eang newydd,” meddai Mrs Williams.

£1.875 million cash injection set to increase efficiency and boost profits for all eligible land-based businesses in Wales

Need help with a business plan, advice about a new covered yard, your livestock or land, or guidance to identify any issues which might be preventing your business from operating as efficiently and profitably as possible?

Are you a farmer or forester anxiously waiting to see how your business will be affected when we finally leave the EU? Or are you taking control of your destiny, taking steps to prepare your business for whatever lies ahead?

Farming Connect is urging all farm and forestry business to apply for specialist advice that will help them increase efficiency and boost profits. An additional cash injection of £1,875 million will ensure continuation of the Advisory Service for eligible businesses registered with Farming Connect between now and August 2022, when the current Farming Connect programme ends.

Eirwen Williams, director of rural programmes with Menter a Busnes, which alongside Lantra Wales, delivers Farming Connect on behalf of the Welsh Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, said the recent announcement of additional funding means that eligible businesses can apply for confidential advice, tailored to their needs, to help them operate at peak performance across all areas of working.

“Our industry is facing a time of unprecedented change and with all land-based businesses required to reduce their carbon footprint, the way these businesses operate is inevitably going to be different.

“I would urge everyone registered with Farming Connect to apply for the Advisory Service now, because this is a critical time for every business to put efficiency and profits at the forefront, to identify areas with the potential for improvement or growth and tackle any which are likely to under-perform longer term.

Eight leading rural consultancies are approved to deliver the Advisory Service. One-to-one advice is funded by up to 80%, while group advice, available for between three and eight individuals, will be fully funded up to a maximum of €1,500 (euros) per application. The service can be applied for up to four times.

Business planning is one of a number of categories available through the Advisory Service, providing successful applicants with the opportunity to seek confidential, independent advice which will help them appraise their business and safeguard its future. Others include infrastructure improvements; soil, grassland and crop management, livestock management and performance, agri-environment issues and woodland management.

“Whatever sector you are involved in, identifying areas for improvement and finding solutions to challenges will be critical for businesses needing to compete in the new global marketplace,” said Mrs. Williams.

Farming Connect, which is delivered by Menter a Busnes and Lantra, has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
