THE Liberal Democrats have announced that Wales would see more than £500m additional funding due to their education plans.
Liberal Democrat education commitments in England would lead to Wales receiving over £500m more each year.
We would urge the Welsh Government to spend this additional funding on education so Kirsty Williams can continue to transform education in Wales.
Jane Dodds, Leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats, said:
“The Welsh Liberal Democrats have a bold plan to create a brighter future for Wales. Increasing the money available for Welsh education, so that every child can have the best start in life, is a key part of this plan.
“Our ambitious plans to reverse cuts to education in England would provide £500m more that the Welsh Government can spend on our schools and teachers, to ensure we continue to build an education system fit for the 21st century.
“This funding will enable us to build on Kirsty Williams’ great work to create an education system that supports and nurtures every child to reach their full potential.
“By voting Welsh Liberal Democrat on the 12th December, you are voting for a brighter future for Wales where every child has the best start in life.”
