INTERESTED in finding out more about plans to make Cenarth more accessible? Then head to the village next week.
On Friday, May 10 there will be an information event at Cenarth falls car park from 10am to 6pm with more details about plans for a boardwalk along the riverside.
Ceredigion County Council is match funding the work from its capital programme after stuccessfully biding for a £125,000 grant from the Welsh Government.
Friday’s event is also a chance to ask any questions about the purpose-built route along the River Teifi with work due to start at the end of the summer.
The work to improve the path width and surface to increase access is expected to take three years to complete.
Corporate lead officer for economy and regeneration Russell Hughes-Pickering said: “This is excellent news for the residents of Cenarth and the surrounding area. It’s an ambitious project, one which will provide an additional resource for residents and visitors to the area, bringing with it health, active travel and economic benefits.”
