FAMILIES with school children eligible for free school meals will continue to receive food while the county’s schools are closed.
Pembrokeshire County Council will provide those eligible for the service with a breakfast, lunch and snack every day during the week.
This can be picked up from the child’s school or the closet school to where the family lives.
It will also include the Easter holidays.
To ensure provision contact the council’s catering service with the following details – Your children’s names, the school they attend, any dietary information and your contact details.
Parents/guardians will also need to let the service know which school you would like to collect the meal from.
You will then be contacted with a pick-up time by 4pm tomorrow (March 20).
Anyone whose circumstances change over the coming weeks resulting in their child becoming eligible for free school meals can also contact the service for support.
