SOUTH WALES Police have confirmed the identity of the motorcyclist who lost his life following a collision in Cardiff Bay on 4th June.
John Crofts, who was 54 years-old, was from the Grangetown area of Cardiff.
His family, who are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers, have paid this tribute to him:
“Sadly, on 4 June 2020 Graham John Crofts, known as John to his friends and family, lost his life in a motorbike accident.
“Much loved son of Mary and Graham, husband to Helen, father to Jacob, Joel and Alexandra. Brother to Jenny, and nephew, uncle and cousin to so many.
“Those that knew him know how much of a presence he was, and how greatly he will he missed by all.”
The collision occurred at 6pm on Thursday 4th June 2020 on the A4232 Central Link roundabout prior to the Queensgate Roundabout, Cardiff.
Officers are continuing their appeal for anybody who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have seen the vehicle involved prior to the collision, to contact South Wales Police on 101 and quote reference *196733.
