A motorcyclist who died following a collision on Neath Road, Briton Ferry, yesterday evening has been named as local man Andrew Taylor aged 29.
His family have issued the following statement:
“Andrew was a loving son, brother, uncle and devoted partner to Francesca and a father of three beautiful young children.
“He was always willing to help anyone at the drop of a hat and was one of a kind.
“His love for vehicles, motorbikes and a bacon and egg sandwich, was clear to all who knew him.
“Andrew was adored by his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.”
The family are completely devastated by the loss of Andrew and wish to thank everyone for their messages of support, but request to be allowed privacy and time to grieve.
They are being supported by a Specially Trained Family Liaison Officer.
South Wales Police were called to the scene of a serious road traffic collision involving a van and a motorcycle on Neath Road, Briton Ferry, shortly before 7.20pm yesterday evening (Friday, June 14).
