Family walk with dog at Whitesands Beach costs Milford Haven man £811

A man who travelled to Whitesands Beach with his family and dog has been ordered to pay a total of £811 for travelling during the emergency period Contrary to regulations 8(1) and 12(1)(b) & (4) of the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (Wales) Regulations 2020.

The court heard that on 10.05.2020 at Whitesands, St.Davids, Pembrokeshire without reasonable excuse, during the emergency period, Anthony Richard Hubbuck of 69 Priory Road, Milford Haven  left or remained away from the place where he was living, in that he had travelled from Milford Haven to Whitesands with his partner and children to walk the dog and he did not have any other reasonable excuse for being in that location.

Hubbuck was fined £660.00. and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £66.00 and costs of £85.00.
