Llandudno RNLI has been very generously gifted a limited print of Conwy Castle and harbour.
Jim Edwards @ https://www.jimedwardspaintings.com
The print is by Newcastle based artist Jim Edwards and was presented to volunteers at Llandudno by his friend Simon Kendall. The print is a gift to thank all the lifeboat crews for their endeavours in the search for the three local fishermen; Alan Minard, Ross Ballantine and skipper Carl McGrath, 34, who sadly died after their boat, the Nicola Faith, sank off Colwyn Bay in January.
Lifeboat Press Officer Jonathan Coe explained, ‘we are so grateful to receive this superb painting which will be going to auction on the 30th of November, it was so kind of Jim and Simon to think of doing this, let’s hope it raises some valuable funds for the RNLI. ‘
The Print can be viewed from today on https://auctions.rogerjones.co.uk and is described as JIM EDWARDS (Artist Newcastle Upon Tyne) a coloured limited edition (22/145) surrealistic print – Floodlit Conwy, mounted but unframed, signed, 42 x 42cms. To be sold on behalf of the RNLI.
