FISHGUARD RNLI’s all-weather lifeboat launched at 10am on Wednesday (Sep 18) with a full volunteer crew onboard. The volunteer crew were requested by HM Coastguard to escort a 40ft vessel into the harbour.
The lifeboat was quickly on scene, as the vessel was in close proximity to the northern breakwater, and escorted the vessel into the harbour and alongside the quay wall and the lifeboat then returned to station at 10:30am.
