FOUR planning appeals lodged against Ceredigion County Council decisions have been dismissed recently and another three have been submitted.

Updates on appeals against refusal of planning permission are included for members of next week’s development management committee, along with those now being considered by the Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW).

Ceredigion council decisions to refuse applications at Pantmeillionen near Llangrannog, Garn Rhos at Maesceiro, Plynlimon Fawr near Eisteddfa Gurig and Aberaeron have all been dismissed by Welsh Government appointed inspectors.

At Pantmeillionen the appeal to allow a certificate of lawful use or development for a caravan that was refused in May 2022 was dismissed as was an appeal against refusal of seven dwellings at Garn Rhos, Maesceiro.

The appeal dismissed at Plynlimon Fawr related to installation of a wood-clad container and transmission dishes, while in Aberaeron an appeal against refusal of a two storey extension to a house at Beach Parade was also dismissed.

Applications for costs in the Garn Rhos and Aberaeron appeals were also dismissed, reports to committee on September 27 state.

The three latest appeals include one against refusal of planning permission at Llwynteg Fields, Blaenplwyf, one decision ‘called in’, relating to a plan in Dolau Gwyn and an appeal against no determination at Goetre Isaf, Betws Bledrws.
