POLICE made arrests and seized cash, crack cocaine and heroin worth tens of thousands of pounds during a police operation this week.
Officers from South Wales Police’s priority policing team raided two addresses in the Barry area simultaneously, as part of an operation to tackle the supply of drugs to the south Wales valleys.
Approximately half a kilo of heroin and crack cocaine was seized when officers executed the search warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act on Tuesday morning (2 July, 2019).
Two men were arrested and charged with drugs and money laundering offences.
