At around 3pm yesterday police responded to a call regarding concern for a man in St Teilo Street Pontarddulais.
Firearms officers were deployed as a precaution.
There were no offences, no arrests and the matter was resolved peacefully.
A man was taken to hospital for a minor injury believed to be the result of a fall.
One eye witness said that they saw the police arriving and that people went out to see what was going on only to be told to go back inside for their own safety.
