The volunteer crew were called out to locate and assist a stranded vessel approximately 5 miles north of Llandudno.
The 36-foot sailing yacht with six people on board was soon located. HM Coastguard then requested the lifeboat to tow the vessel to a safe mooring at Conwy Marina.

A RNLI crew member explained: ‘In these situations, we must thoroughly assess all possible risks to ensure everyone involved remain absolutely safe before securing a vessel and commencing a rescue.’
