HOLYHEAD Coastguard alerted the Llandudno Lifeboat at 3.20 pm on Wednesday 16 June requesting them to launch and proceed around the Little Orme to Penrhyn Bay to locate a windsurfer reported to need urgent assistance.
Whilst making their way to around the Little Orme, the HM Coastguard were able to establish that the windsurfer had managed to return safely to shore. The Llandudno inshore lifeboat with three volunteer crew members on board was therefore stood down by the Coastguard and returned to the Lifeboat Station.
