IN what is thought to be its 50th and final year Llandudno RNLI crew members gathered to participate in the service at the Cenotaph and in a subsequent parade on the promenade.
The Trafalgar Day Parade took place along the town’s North Shore on Sunday morning with more than 100 ex-naval personnel from all over North Wales and the North West.
The occasion marks the victory of Lord Nelson’s fleet over the combined Spanish and French forces at the Battle of Trafalgar on October 21, 1805. It is also an opportunity to remember all those who have lost their lives at sea during times of war and in times of peace.
