SOUTH Wales Police are continuing to investigate after a man was discovered with serious injuries in a subway close to Tonypandy railway station.
Officers were called by a member of the public who found the man at approximately 1 am on Friday, (Nov 15).
The man who is in his 30s and is from the local area is currently in hospital where his condition has been described as critical.
At this stage his injuries are unexplained.
Part of the area was cordoned off so investigations could be carried out at the scene.
Local people were encouraged to use the Trealaw entrance to Tonypandy train station.
