Now in its 6th year the event organised by crew member Andy Badger Miles saw athletes of all ages battling for prizes.
The 1k Jaffa cake run seen families competing to win their height in Jaffa Cakes. The race is in memory of former crew member Chris ‘Jaffa’ Jeffries who lost his battle with cancer and had a massive impact on the crew.
The adult 5 and 10k race along the seafront saw hundreds of people taking part in Christmas themed Fancy dress.
‘Badger’ said ‘It really was challenging this year for the kids especially as the skies opened and they got drenched. The adult race resulted in a mass crew finish (pictured)’.
The event has raised over £10,000 over the years and is the oldest traditional Christmas Fun Run in the area.
