LLANELLI’s MP Nia Griffith has lost her role as Shadow Secretary of State for Wales in a front bench reshuffle by Keir Starmer.
The position has been given to Cardiff Central’s Jo Stevens, who was shadow secretary of state for digital, culture, media and sport.
First Minister of Wales Mark Drakeford has paid tribute to the work of the Llanelli MP who been in the cabinet position since Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership. Mr Drakeford also congratulated Jo Stevens on her appointment.
Nick Thomas-Symonds becomes the Shadow Secretary of State for International Trade.
