THE Conservative AM Nick Ramsay has been released from police custody with “no further action” being taken.
It was widely reported that the AM had been arrested on New Year’s Day following a disturbance in Chepstow Road, Raglan.
Police said: “We received a report of a disturbance at an address in Chepstow Road, Raglan on Wednesday, 1st January at around 8.05pm.
“A 44-year-old man from the Raglan area was arrested following an incident but he has been released with no further action following investigation.”
It has been reported that Mr Ramsay has also been suspended from the Conservative Party.
