‘BUSINESSES in Bangor Now Need Support.’ That is the call from Plaid Cymru’s Siân Gwenllian and Hywel Williams on Covid-19 Restrictions.
Following the news that eight council wards in Bangor are to be subject to Covid-19 restrictions from 6pm on Saturday October 10th, Plaid Cymru MS for Arfon, Siân Gwenllian, and Arfon MP Hywel Williams said in a joint statement: “These new hyper-local restrictions for the city of Bangor were sadly inevitable and in direct response to data showing an increase in cases within the city itself.
“We also understand that Bangor University has detailed preparations in place. We would appeal to everyone to respect these new restrictions and further urge local people across the remainder of Arfon to take extra care.
“Businesses affected by these new restrictions will now need the necessary government support to offset the adverse impact on trade.”
