PLAID CYMRU has tabled a motion in the Senedd to thank Welsh NHS and care workers. This is the first statement of opinion tabled during the Coronavirus crisis.
Mid and West MS Helen Mary Jones said: “I’m pleased that this is the first statement of opinion that has been tabled during this public health emergency. It is fitting that Members of the Senedd (MSs) have the opportunity to thank all staff working in the Welsh health and care service, along with other key workers in the public, voluntary and private sectors. I was fortunate before the lockdown to be able to highlight the good work being done in communities across Wales by visiting a group arranging food deliveries to vulnerable people in Pontyberem. My team and I continue to support my constituents and organisations in my region and elsewhere now by advocating for them and thanking them virtually.”
