SOUTH WALES Police in Cardiff are investigating a road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 17.25 hrs on Saturday 4th May 2019 at Grand Avenue, Ely.
A white coloured motor car was in collision with a 46 year old local man who was in process of changing a tyre, the motor car failed to stop at the scene. The man has been taken to the University Hospital of Wales with what are described as serious injuries.
South Wales Police Roads Policing Department are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have any information including dashcam footage, which will help officers in identifying the person who was driving the car.
