Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information about a serious road traffic collision on the A4059, around two miles from the junction with the A470, which involved a motorbike and a car.
The collision happened at around 2pm on Wednesday, October 23. A silver BMW motorbike was travelling from the direction of Penderyn, on the A4059, towards the junction with the A470. The car, a silver Mazda CX-5, was travelling from the A470 junction towards Penderyn.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains. The driver and passenger were not injured.
The A4059 between Storey Arms and Hirwaun was closed for a number of hours while specialist officers carried out their investigation.
