OFFICERS investigating a road traffic collision in which a three-year-old boy was seriously injured, are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
South Wales Police was called to the incident on Garth Avenue, Glyncoch, Pontypridd, shortly after 4.30pm today (Sunday, September 22).
The child, a pedestrian who lives locally, was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, where he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle – a silver Ford Fiesta – was uninjured.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has CCTV, mobile phone or dash-cam footage which could assist the investigation, is urged to contact 101, quoting occurrence 1900351232.
