DYFED-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on the A48 between Carmarthen and Nantycaws last night (Thursday, 28 January).
The collision, on the westbound carriageway at around 6.10pm, involved four vehicles – two in an initial crash, with two cars colliding in the aftermath.
An adult female and a young child have sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision and are described as being in a stable condition.
Anyone who saw a grey Nissan Note vehicle being driven in this area, or who has information regarding the collision is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit quoting DP-20210128-223.
