SOUTH Wales Police is appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision which happened at approximately 3:45am this morning (August 29) on the A4119 at Penygraig.
A red coloured Vauxhall Adam was in collision with a tree, as a result of the collision and despite the best efforts of attending emergency services a 26-year-old woman died.
A 24-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident and currently remains in custody.
We would like to speak with any witnesses to the collision, any person who may have dash camera footage of the incident or anyone who witnessed the manner of driving of the Vauxhall Adam prior to the collision.
