DYFED-Powys Police is appealing for information following a road traffic collision on the A40 Westbound.
A spokesperson said: “Police attended a two vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 6.45pm on Tuesday 3rd December 2019 on the A40 westbound, between Carmarthen and St Clears, junction with an unclassified road leading to Llanstephan. The vehicles involved were a black Toyota Aygo and a grey BMW.
“Two people were taken to hospital by ambulance with what were believed to be minor injuries.
One lane was closed and reopened at 8.10pm.
“Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police. Police would especially like to speak to the driver of a 4×4 who is reported as being stationary on the carriageway at the time of the collision.”
