SOUTH Wales Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision on the northbound carriageway of the A4232 between Leckwith and Culverhouse Cross, at 7.10am today (Wednesday April 22).
One car – a maroon Peugeot 307 – was involved and the male driver was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, where he remains is a critical but stable condition.
His family are being supported by police officers
Officers investigating the circumstances of the collision would like to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened, anyone who stopped to help or anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision.
The road was closed for a short period of time while initial investigations we carried out.
