Police appeal for witnesses to suspected assault on woman at Heol Llangynnwr

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a suspected assault on Heol Llangynnwr, at approximately 2:20pm, on Tuesday, 14th December.

A man is suspected of assaulting a woman after she stopped her vehicle to check on his welfare, as his Vauxhall Astra had collided with a roundabout on the A40, whilst fleeing the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision on Pensarn roundabout.

The 39-year-old man, from the Warwickshire area, was arrested on suspicion of assault, driving without due care and failing to stop after a road traffic collision. He has been released on bail whilst the investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage that could help officers with their investigation is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police, either online at: https://bit.ly/DPPContactOnline, by emailing 101@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk, or by calling 101.
