Police in Pontardawe are appealing for information following a dog attack that took place on the canal path between Pontardawe and Ynysmeudwy.
The incident occurred at approximately 6pm on Saturday, 20 August and left a 20 year-old woman requiring hospital treatment for a bite wound.
Officers are trying to track down the man with the dog responsible for the attack.
The man is described as being 5ft 11, in his late forties/early fifties, with a stocky build, a neat grey beard, grey short hair and was wearing shorts.
The dog has been described as a ginger and black Rottweiler wearing a black or brown collar.
