DYFED-POWYS POLICE have suspended the search for missing Llanelli man Darren Rees.
In a statement police said:
“We continue to look for Darren Rees who was reported missing in Llanelli last night. A new photo has been provided by his family.”
Chief Inspector Chris Neve:
“At 5pm this evening we have taken advice from HM Coastguard and the RNLI to suspend the search for Mr Rees until the morning. I am satisfied that between us we have done everything possible to try and locate Mr Rees today using the assets we have available to us. There have been extensive searches from the air, land and sea and I am grateful to everyone involved.
Police officers will be continuing to conduct intelligence led enquiries throughout the night, in and around the Llanelli area.”
