POLICE and the ambulance service have been attending an incident at Verdi Road in Sandfields on Tuesday (Feb 11).
Bystanders reported seeing a large number of emergency services vehicles arriving at a property on the road late on Tuesday evening.
Photographs were posted on Facebook showing the emergency services and people wearing white protective clothing outside a property on the road.
One bystander who did not wish to be named said that a lot of people in the area were worried that it might have something to do with the Coronavirus.
The bystander told us: “A man arrived home from Singapore and hadn’t been seen for a few days. There was a call made and just as precaution men in white suits went into the home. I believe he had had a stroke or a heart attack.”
I believe it was an over reaction and it scared a lot of people in Port Talbot.”
We have contacted the emergency services for a comment.
