THE Section 60 Notice which gives officers the authority to stop and search anyone in Butetown, Grangetown and Riverside areas of Cardiff (see map for exact locations) has been extended until 11pm tonight (Sunday February 2).
The notice was issued after two stabbing incidents in Cardiff within a 24 hour period – these are not linked and the two male victims are in stable condition.
Police continue to appeal for information in relation to these incidents and anyone with information can call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting occurrence 2000038398
