STARBUCKS stores in Swansea and Llanelli are collecting presents for local children in need this Christmas.
In conjunction with Barnardos, the local stores are asking for presents for children from Swansea and Llanelli to be donated and dropped into their stores. They aim for the children who are being supported by Barnardos to have a gift to open on Christmas morning.
Stores on Fabian Way, Llansamlet Retail Park and Trostre Retail Park are collecting presents for children in need, which will be distributed by the Barnardo’s team in the run-up to Christmas.
Customers can pick a child’s name from the Christmas tree to buy a gift for. When they drop the gift back in Starbucks will give them a free festive drink as a thank you.
Leon Esfahani, Managing Director of the Starbucks Franchise said: “We are so proud to be supporting this amazing cause for the fourth year. Over the last four years, we have collected over 5000 presents for Barnardo’s children and we’re excited to see how many we can donate this year. The response from the public has been fantastic.”
